The doctors have confirmed that we are indeed dealing with osteosarcoma. Apparently, there are six stages (of growth?) for this type of tumor: 1-A, 1-B, 2-A, 2-B, 3, and 4. According to the samples taken with the needle biopsy on Monday, Jonatán's tumor is a level 2-B.
The family will be meeting with the specialists tomorrow to determine the course of treatment, most likely starting with chemotherapy this week.
Please continue to pray for wisdom for Esteban and Esther and the doctors. Our faith is in the Great Physician – we know that HE ultimately is the One who heals!
