A very tired but happy Dr. Porter just gave us the news – Jona is out of surgery! The surgery took over seven hours, the last hour and a half of which were spent sewing muscles back together and of course closing the incision.
I'll plan to send a detailed update tomorrow, Lord willing.
Do continue in prayer! Perhaps the biggest item is that the doctors are hoping the chemo destroyed at least 90% of the tumor for the best statistical survival rate.
Remember that God is good – all the time!
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him:
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honour him.

I will start praying for Jona... and praise God for the good work He has already done!
