On Christmas Day,
the Uruguay Cousins were able to make the now “traditional” Tree Cookie – thanks to a small cookie cutter set (5 sizes of stars) we picked up last
year.
It’s smaller, but
it works!
We connected via
Skype with family in Florida, Canada, and South Carolina. Technology can be such a blessing!
Christmas weekend was occupied with programs – Saturday morning in Montevideo and Sunday morning in Pando.
So many blessings!
We’re thankful – most
of all – for the Greatest Blessing:
I cannot tell how silently He
suffered,
As with His peace He graced
this place of tears,
Or how upon the cross His heart
was broken,
The crown of pain to three and
thirty years.
But this I know: He heals the
broken-hearted
And stays our sin and calms our
lurking fear
And lifts the burden from the
heavy laden,
For yet the Saviour, Saviour of
the world, is here.
