Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB)
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

¡Socorro de lo Alto!
Alzaré mis ojos a los montes;
¿de dónde vendrá mi socorro?
Mi socorro viene del SEÑOR,
que hizo los cielos y la tierra.

Denali National Park & Preserve!
Our Loving Shepherd gave us perfect weather – not to be taken for granted, especially at Denali! We enjoyed more details of the wonders of creation than we had on our previous visit.
The snowshoe hare came up to me as I was photographing the caribou! And the ground squirrels kept popping out of the rocks around us, chattering at each other and at us as E and DJ stopped along the trail to complete the Junior Ranger Activity Books.
We saw creatures great and small!
Caribou – at close range!
In our rush to go see the Grizzly, we cut short our “hike” and didn’t take time to recreate the picture from our previous visit on the Savage River Trail... (Maybe next time!)
But we actually did get a good view of Denali – “The High One!” – on the horizon! We’re told that only 30% who come to see North America’s tallest mountain actually get to see it.
Yep! A picture truly is worth a thousand words!
Sums up our physical state at this point in travel!
On the way back to Fairbanks...
Enjoyed an extended Alaskan sunset...
Saw multiple rainbows...
SO much beauty! SO much to be thankful for!
Chena Lakes Outing!
We’ve been enjoying our time with friends from college days...
“Is any pleasure on earth as great
as a circle of Christian friends
by a good fire?”
Uruguayan mate by the campfire!
And lots of water fun!
Truly a refreshing evening!
I’m overwhelmed by these kind gifts from our Loving Shepherd!
