Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB)
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

Sharing the Life of Jona Torres
Today would have been Jona's 17th birthday...
We miss him more than ever... (How can words possibly begin to describe...?) But we know that he is rejoicing with His Savior in ways we can only begin to imagine.
Today we especially remember...
Jesus said:
“I am the resurrection and the life;
he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,
and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die.
Do you believe this?”
(John 11)
A very, very special "Thank-you!" to our dear friend Sarah Joy for her labor of love to our extended family and Jona's friends by creating the slideshow.
To God be the glory!

Precious...and the tears flow! God is so good to have used Jona in the way that He did in such a short life span. Praying for continued grace and upholding by the only One that can sustain. All my love.
A picture is worth a thousand words. I've been praying for you all regularly. Seeing that slideshow moved me to tears, how much more so those who loved that incredible smile and miss seeing it. Jona's spirit still shines.
Oh, I hurt for you. May the God of all comfort give you a peace beyond our understanding. Marcos, I know you miss your brother; I'm praying for you, too.
We are rejoicing with him!
Deborah,
What a beautifully touching tribute to your nephew! Praying for you and your family. I'm sure today was especially hard.
Whenever I think of all that your family has gone through in the past couple of years, I can hardly believe that you are still able to function. What an amazing testimony you have had--definitely proof that God does give grace. Wish I could give you a hug in person!
