Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB)
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

Daddy’s Girl
We were in my room, talking about very important matters – including what to wear today. My now officially three-and-a-half-year-old spontaneously gave me an earnest little kiss on the cheek and then informed me:
“I gave you a kiss.”
She paused.
“But I love my Daddy the best.”
If he weren’t my favorite person, too – I might be tempted to be jealous!

I can empathize. Sarah is definitely Daddy's girl, though she has alway preferred me when she's sick. Otherwise, she's all Daddy. She dresses up like him, tried to cut her hair like his (when she was 3 1/2), and even likes the same taste in food. I keep trying to remind her that I am the one who carried her for 9 months and gave birth to her, so I should at least get some attention. :o)
LOL! I try to remind Elizabeth of the same... And I surely hope she doesn't try to cut her hair like her Daddy's - she's 3 1/2 now! :o}
