We sang a favorite hymn in church today... I'm struck with how appropriate it is as a prayer for parents of young children...

Yes! I'm afraid my kids saw a lot of "me" today.
Last night I lay in bed, pondering how I'd fallen short -- and claiming God's forgiveness and grace... I'm so thankful that His mercies are new every morning. Great is HIS faithfulness!
