"Chubbs" reached the two-month milestone on the evening of December 30, 2010, while we were traveling to the farm house in IN that had belonged to Grampa and Gramma. On the way there, we realized that that very night was also the fifth anniversary of Grampa's home-going...

Psalm 121:1-2 (NASB)
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.

Growing!
DJM is now two and a half months (eleven and a half weeks) old. He's a very smiley and "talkative" baby, trying out new sounds on an almost daily basis. He's a lot of fun, eagerly learning and interacting with everyone around him – especially his sister! He has, thankfully, proven to be quite flexible, adjusting to multiple (and often unpredictable) changes as we travel.
He's definitely our "Chubbs" – a nickname well-earned! He's a very good eater – and great weight loss program for his Mommy! At the seven-week check-up, he weighed 12 lbs, 12 oz and measured 24 in long. He outgrew most of his 0-3M onesies and graduated to mostly 3-6M and even some 6M outfits before Christmas!

We marked the occasion by taking Daniel James' two-month pictures in Great-Grampa's (James Joseph's) armchair:
On the Ontario leg of our trip, I took a picture of our Little Man in his Great-Grandma's rocking chair. (But I'm not sure where the big lion came from...)
We have so much to be thankful for!
